LIGHTS, PLATEAU AND CHOCOLATE

The Hamlet of CAHOTTES is special because it has a Nature Reserve, "La Source". From the highest point, you will discover a magnificent view: straight ahead is the St-Remacle farm and the village of Awirs, and its houses in the valley. Awirs neighbour, CHOKIER used to be a flourishing village and vines once grew there. The buildings of the hamlet of SAIVES truly represent the architecture of the "century of lights" of the Liège region. HANEFFE is an old medieval manor and stretches along the Yerne, a stream which is a tributary of the Geer. Overlooked by a magnificent castle-farm, WARNANT is set around its old church of Saint Rémi. A few farms sketch out the appearance of CHAPON-SERAING. The village of HERMALLE-SOUS-HUY is a very beautiful centre for history and architecture.
